Visiting the town

The Ath Tourist Office has introduced a range of packages to help visitors discover all the wealth of the town.

For individual visitors: theme visits (in French) are programmed each year as part of the Rendez-vous du Patrimoine (Heritage Days), guided visits are organized at the Gallo-Roman Museum the first Sunday of each month at 3 pm and you can explore the town centre during the Circuit of lights.

For families, children from 9 to 12 are always happy to discover the Wapaventure notebooks to help them explore the Burbant tower or the Gallo-Roman Centre.

For groups: visits are organized by appointment all through the year. Visits on foot to the town can be combined with visits to one or more museums (Gallo-Roman Museum, the Giants'House, the Maffle Stone Museum, the Jeux de Paume Museum) or the Brasserie des Légendes where delicious beers are made.

For schools: special packages with activities and workshops for all age ranges give children a precise idea of the ancient techniques mentioned in the Gallo-Roman Museum, of the intangible heritage presented at the Giants'House or the workers’ living conditions evoked at the Maffle Stone Museum.

We organize visits in French, Dutch and English.
